EQUITONE – FIBRE CEMENT FAÇADE MATERIALS

EQUITONE - the leading outside material produced in Europe in the 1950s. The main ingredient is cement and cellulose fiber, which makes a decorative material. In addition to extremely durable with time, sturdy, solid color and very light.

In the 50’s, top architects such as Walter Gropius have pioneered the use of fiber cement panels in the construction of facades (rainproof). Designer Willy Guhl created the famous "footless chair" with a fiber cement board in 1954. Today, the chair design still demonstrates the core characteristics of fiber cement: thin, lightweight, beautiful and durable.

In 1987, Herzog and De Meuron built an architectural work that permanently altered the development of fiberglass facing materials. The Ricola warehouse project in Laufen was using unpaved fiber cement. This project, with the use of paneling, allows for internal observation, inspired the company to start developing and manufacturing unprocessed fiber cement.

EQUITONE includes the following types:

EQUITONE [tectiva] is an extruded monolithic material from inside to outside, natural color. The surface featured with Eternite fibers gives the strength and texture of the cementitious material. With a maximum size of 1.25m x 3m, engineers can convert to any size at the site or at the factory using a CNC cutting machine.

EQUITONE [Linea] is a solid outer material that fits in from the inside to outside, a unique 3D cube combined with light and shade. Surface is the horizontal lines throughout to highlight the internal structure of the fiber cement core. At different times of the day, changes in light angle make the panel's surface change very differently. The material is manufactured in large size and can be changed to any size at the site or at the factory by CNC cutting machine.

EQUITONE [Natura] is the outer material of uniform color from inside to outside. Each Natura sheet is unique, exquisite showing the rough texture of the fiber cement inside the Eternit core. The surface is treated with a special coating to create a smooth but still retain the characteristic color from nature, helping to effectively prevent dirt and dust. The material is manufactured in large size and can be changed to any size at the site or at the factory by CNC cutting machine.

EQUITONE [Materia] is a material that tiles off the uniform color from the inside to outside to highlight the beauty of the cellulose fiber. The main structure is made of cement, in which the cellulose fibers make the surface rough. As the surrounding environment changes, the surface changes the natural color and shadows are very delicate, diverse. The material is manufactured in large size and can be changed to any size at the site or at the factory by CNC cutting machine.

EQUITONE [Pictura] is a finishing material with a variety of colors. Thousands of translucent colors are made according to customer requirements. The material is manufactured in large size and can be changed to any size at the site or at the factory by CNC cutting machine. This material can be punched or printed.
