BCA Green Mark criteria (Singaporean standard) for residential buildings:
1. The energy efficiency

- Advanced features for building insulation to reduce heat generated leads to reduced cooling load requirements for buildings.
- Comfortable conditions inside the apartment: Increase comfort conditions or use air conditioning or efficient use of natural ventilation design. The natural ventilation system can take advantage of natural conditions such as wind, the conditions of each region... Also can use the openings to ensure effective ventilation.
- Natural ventilation in general public areas as the lobby, hallways, stairs.
- Lighting: Encourage the use of high-performance lighting or natural lighting in common areas to save energy during use, while maintaining sufficient illumination. The areas for natural lighting can be; lobby, hallways, stairs, parking.
- Ventilation of parking: Encourage the use of energy efficient design and control in the wind system. Natural air for the parking lot, using a CO sensor to control the ventilation requirements.
- Lifts: To encourage the efficient uses of energy, such as using an alternating current voltage and change the frequency of the motor.
- Energy efficiency: Encourage use energy efficiency, such as exchange thermal, heat pipe, gas heater, etc. With those improvements, it will have good effects in public buildings

- Noise levels: 55dB (6am - 10pm), 45dB(10pm - 6am).
- Ensure hazardous substances and dust at least as materials used for products with low volatile organic compounds and adhesives for wood products.
- Providing natural ventilation holes open or in natural light to the kitchen space, bathroom, toilet.
